I didn't really know where to post this thread, but I think this is the best spot for it. We all know the importance of protecting ourselves from people and companies that would take our designs, inventions, and products for their own and sell us down the river. But I was wondering since I'm just starting out, how much of my budget should I look to use for the proper means of security... the trademarks, patents, licensing, etc.???

I need help protecting my physical ideas/ models, but also my electronic ones like my designs and web stuff.
