folks, I recently released a book on innovation called the Inventor's Almanac 2007. I'd be interested in reader feedback on what we can do to improve the 2008 edition. For those who have not seen it, discount copies are being offered at www.inventorsalmanac.org.

actually, for new inventors, a good solid book is Inventing for Dummies. It lays out all the basics in simple language that anyone with little or no business experience can understand and learn from....

I really liked the books Patent It Yourself and The Inventor's Notebook by David Pressman, even if you plan on hiring a patent attorney, these books are still very helpful in understanding the process and your limitations.
