Hello Stephen and Andrew,
This is important for inventors because years ago it was much easier to work with a manufacturer for convenience and cost in your country or even your own state. Traveling and ordering from the other side of the world is very difficult and takes a large order to just get started.
Besides my pride of my invention I may be even more proud that I manufacture and state loudly so in Houston, Texas U.S.A.
I am proud to create jobs and unselfishly contribute to the U.S. economy rather than just make myself money. I feel my profits are shared with all the employees at my manufacturer.
I most strongly believe there are only two things that can save this country from a great fall and that is drilling for oil and gas (manufacturing energy resources) and manufacturing more as a whole in the U.S.
We now hear more about this instead of making individuals rich importing cheap products and using a small sales crew to stuff as much profits in their own pockets as they can. This mentality cost the U.S. it's manufacturing _base_ which will cost the entire country's welfare.
I see a comeback of "Made in the U.S.A." even as necessity for our economic cycle. I think people will finally realize again especially now with Chinese baby formula sickening many babies with kidney stones even after they knew they were using a harmful additive.
This incident after the lead in toys and formaldehyde in toothpaste or whatever it was, is bringing more trust and value in U.S. manufacturing.
Do you see a swing back for American quality and for the good of the domestic economic cycle? I feel so confident with my Made in U.S. statement that U.S. consumers may buy just for that aspect and even give the product away as a gift. Even if they don't need it, they will buy for support.
What do you think? Am I on a new trend in the very beginning?
