The Epitome of Inventor Energy - Interview with Kim Babjak
I mentioned on our last post about the Tonight Show that sometimes the people who are successful are the ones that are full of energy. To convince someone else to be excited about your product, YOU need to be pumped about your product.
I bring this up because I recently had the great pleasure of meeting a relatively new inventor, Kim Babjak, at the InventBay Invention Expo in October. And this woman is full of positive energy and spirit.
Because I knew you all would love to hear what she had to say, she and I sat down a few weeks ago, where I picked her brain about how she did it, and what she felt the most important factors were.
An introduction to Kim Babjak:
In 2000, Kim had an idea, $1,000 loan, and time. She added those ingredients, along with pure determination and a positive attitude, to help make her product the Zip-a-Ruffle, a QVC success story. In the years after, she developed a whole product line that has been featured on TV, in Wal-Mart, and in stores around the globe. Kim has appeared in Entrepreneur Magazine, the Today Show, and the Big Idea with Donnie Deutsch. She was worked with celebrities including Bill Bellamy, Donald Trump, and Rich Dad Poor Dad author, and a personal hero of mine, Robert Kiyosaki. She continues to help other entrepreneurs achieve the same type of product success she experienced.
