“What’s Your BIG Idea” Contest Winner Announced
Congratulations to Brian Leykum for winning our contest sponsored by Townsend and Townsend and Crew LLP! Brian will receive a FREE provisional patent application from Townsend, valued at over $4,000 (their clients are typically large corporations).
His invention, an early detection and warning device for the presence of carbon monoxide, was chosen out of more than 70 entries.
Two second place winners, Anthony Anderson of Indianapolis and Jorge Bedoya of Scarborough, Ontario, will each receive free legal consulting from Townsend.
We were very pleased to have so many entries in this year’s contest, and it was a challenging task to sort through them all and select the final contestants.
Thanks again to Townsend for sponsoring the contest and offering their services to the inventor community.

Congratulations! I love to read about winners! Please keep us updated on your progress and results!
That’s amazing, 70 entries; and 6 get on the tonight show with Jay Leno? There we’re about 800 entries at the 2008 INPEX and none that I know of made it to the Jay Leno show! I won the Award of Excellence at INPEX; and I’ve sent in letters over and over to the Jay Leno show! Bought a LASER cutter, two break presses, a shear; and started a manufacturing business called Copus Industries LLC; and do I get a call from Jay Leno? Do a Google search of RollerBoard Loadhandler and see what you get! I hold two utility patents and one is a product! The force that drives me is the Copus Foundation for Children of Addicts; my goal is to fund it! So how do I get on the Jay Leno show?
With a smile,
