Guy Kawasaki is the author of ‘Art of the Start’ which should be regarded as an important resource for new entrepreneurs.  According to Guy, this book was written as a definitive guide for people who want to start a new venture. This book will provide answers to many questions for:
•    Entrepreneurs who are planning to form companies
•    Entrepreneurs who want to secure investment capital

Guy Kawasaki was an exceptional member in the marketing department of Apple’s Macintosh business unit, and he now has a separate venture capital firm. He has ready answers to most questions that new entrepreneurs have in mind. Among the questions answered in “Art of the Start” are:

•    How can I make my dream idea earn money?
•    How can I make a perfect pitch?
•    If I do not have enough capital but dream of starting a company, how can I do it?
•    How can I outperform my competitors and win prospective clients?

The answers to these questions and many more are in the FAQ section of the book. For those of you who are wondering how to make an excellent business presentation which no venture capitalist can ignore, Guy offers various suggestions. In a very readable format, he provides basic points to be considered when making these presentations such as:

•    Always use larger fonts in presentation slides for people with less than perfect vision
•    Always start your company’s name with a letter that comes early in alphabet listing
•    Never use all capitals in presentations.

This book can also be a guide for employees who want to present ideas within an established company. One very helpful chapter is “Great Ideas for Starting Things”. GIST is a list of what the priorities should be for entrepreneurs, and the step by step process for an entrepreneur to achieve his goals.

Guy Kawasaki is successful as a venture capital entrepreneur, and he provides solutions to many of the problems that you will face as a new entrepreneur.
